Fenocchio: When you visit Nice you must have gelato at Fenocchio. The main location is in the heart of Old Town with over 100 flavours.
Bar du Coin (Vieille Ville): Amazing pizza al fresco in Old Town.
So Green: Grab a salad from here on your way to the beach.
Paradice: Fresh Italian/French restaurant right along the Cours Saleya.
Le Sporting Plage: The beach is beautiful, but you have to spend €18 on a lounge chair unless you’d rather suntan on the rocks.
Marché aux Fleurs Cours Saleya: This daily flower and produce open-air market is in the heart of Old Town Nice and is super lively and beautiful. Just a block from the beaches!
Colline du Château: Climb up to the top of castle hill for a stunning view of the sea. Stop in the gardens and parks along the way.
Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporian (MAMAC): Museum of modern and contemporary art. Always very cool and interesting works on view. Also on the circular roof terrace there is a stunning 360° view of Old Nice.
Antique Markets: On different days of the week, antique markets are popping up all over the place in Nice. A huge one is in Place Garibaldi that takes place on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, and there are also some at Cours Saleya on Mondays and Palais de Justice on Saturdays.
Shopping: Lots of great strips to wander and shop. I recommend Place Masséna, Avenue Jean Médecin, Avenue de Verdun, Rue Paradis and just around Vieux-Nice.
